Brake rotor replacement.

After rebuilding the calipers last winter, it was time to replace the rotors. Easy but greasy I would call the job. I finished it in a couple of hours. Once the car is on stands and the tires are off, I disconnected the calipers from the rotor and attached them to the spring; no need to disconnect any brake hoses. Then taking of the old rotor which is pretty easy. The spindle is in good condition. The new rotor gets its new bearings front and back with lots of fresh grease. Then installing it on the spindle and putting the calipers back on. As I said: easy but greasy !

The old rotor with the restored caliper still on;
The spindle.
Old versus new.
The bearings and the oil retainer ring.
Installed on the spindle and cleaned.
All done !
